Tuesday, June 28, 2011: Cundy’s Harbor Library Summer Reading Program begins. Program runs six consecutive Tuesday mornings at the library. See our Summer Reading Program page for more information.
Tuesday, July 12, 2011: “The Woodland Cinderella”, award-winning puppet show by Deborah Costine, 11:30 am at the library (following that day’s Summer Reading Program).
Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16, 2011: Annual Cundy’s Harbor Library Book Sale at Cundy’s Harbor Community Hall, 837 Cundy’s Harbor Road, Harpswell. Friday, July 15 hours 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 16 hours 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Sunday, July 24, 2011: Trillium at Cundy’s Harbor, a summer evening of music to benefit Cundy’s Harbor Library, 7:00 pm at Cundy’s Harbor Community Hall, 837 Cundy’s Harbor Road, Harpswell. Trillim (www.trilliumusic.com) is a delightful instrumental trio that will present music to please any audience. Janice Stover on piano, Melanie Sobotka on flute and whistles and Amanda Tombarelli on violin will play celtic, pop, jazz standards, and light classics. Admission $10 adults and $5 children.
Friday, August 5, 2011: Annual Cundy’s Harbor Days kicks off with the Cundy’s Harbor Ice Cream Social, 6:00 pm, this year combined with the Library Square Dance, 7:00 pm, both events at the Cundy’s Harbor Community Hall, 837 Cundy’s Harbor Road, Harpswell. Ice Cream Social admission is free; Square Dance admission $5 per person or $10 per family.
Friday, August 5–7, 2011: Annual Cundy’s Harbor Days. Multiple events around the Harbor, including a Square Dance at Community Hall, the annual Harbor Days parade, lobster crate races, a sacred music concert, and Blessing of the Fleet. Check back for details shortly.
